Pre-Launch Offer Terms
Summary
- Subscribing to the Mecavoy mailing list is free. When you subscribe, a Free Year of Mecavoy Plus, which will be priced at $89 a year, is reserved for your email address.
- The Free Year is applied automatically to the first Mecavoy account opened with the same email address. No promotional code or payment card is required.
- The Free Year does not convert into a paid subscription. When it ends, the account moves to the free Registered Tier unless you choose to subscribe.
- Mecavoy is scheduled to open across the United States in January 2027. Residents of California, Florida, Hawaii and Washington may open an account and plan trips from launch, but may not book travel through Mecavoy until booking opens in their state, which is expected in December 2027. Their Free Year is held until then.
- To claim the Free Year, you must be at least 18 and legally resident in the United States, and you must open your account by July 31, 2027. Residents of California, Florida, Hawaii and Washington have a later deadline. There is one Free Year per person.
- You may unsubscribe from Mecavoy emails at any time using the one-click link in any email. Unsubscribing does not end your Free Year.
- If you subscribed while Version 1 of these Terms was published, you keep every right that Version 1 gave you, and any provision of these Terms that is more favorable to you also applies to you.
- A signup that required a confirmation email and was never confirmed is not a subscription. It does not reserve a Free Year, it receives no emails, and Mecavoy deletes it.

1. Parties and Scope
1.1 Parties. These Pre-Launch Offer Terms (these “Terms”) are an agreement between Mecavoy LC, a Wyoming limited liability company (Wyoming entity ID 2026-002066107), 5830 E 2nd St, Ste 7000 #38404, Casper, WY 82609, United States (“Mecavoy”, “we”, “us” or “our”), and the individual who subscribed to the Mecavoy mailing list (“you” or “your”).
1.2 Scope. These Terms set out (a) the terms of the Offer, in Sections 3 and 4, and (b) the Email and Marketing Policy referred to in the consent checkbox on the signup form at mecavoy.com, in Section 5.
1.3 Subscribers under Version 1. This Section 1.3 applies to you if you subscribed to the Mecavoy mailing list while Version 1 of these Terms was the version published at mecavoy.com. You keep every right that Version 1 gave you. Where a provision of this version of these Terms is more favorable to you than the corresponding provision of Version 1, the provision of this version applies to you. This Section 1.3 applies only to the subscription you made while Version 1 was published. If that subscription ends and you subscribe again after this version is published, the new subscription is governed by this version. A copy of Version 1 is available on request from support@mecavoy.com.
1.4 Contact. Questions about these Terms may be sent to support@mecavoy.com. Questions and requests about your personal information may be sent to privacy@mecavoy.com.
2. Definitions and Interpretation
2.1 Definitions. In these Terms, the following terms have the following meanings:
“Account” means an account on the Mecavoy Service.
“Booking Opening Date” means, for a Covered State, the date on which Mecavoy first makes the booking of travel through the Mecavoy Service available to residents of that state.
“Covered State” means each of California, Florida, Hawaii and Washington.
“Free Year” means twelve (12) consecutive months of Mecavoy Plus, provided at no cost under these Terms.
“Launch” means the date on which Mecavoy first makes the Mecavoy Service available to the public in the United States, which is scheduled for January 2027.
“Mecavoy Plus” means the paid membership tier of the Mecavoy Service, which will be priced at $89 a year.
“Mecavoy Service” means the Mecavoy travel planning and booking service.
“Offer” means Mecavoy’s offer of a Free Year to individuals who subscribe to the Mecavoy mailing list before Launch, on the terms set out in these Terms.
“Privacy Policy” means the Mecavoy Privacy Policy published at mecavoy.com/privacy.html.
“Registered Tier” means the level of Account membership on the Mecavoy Service for which no fee is charged.
“Subscribed Address” means the email address with which you subscribed to the Mecavoy mailing list at mecavoy.com.
2.2 Interpretation. In these Terms: (a) headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation; (b) “including” and similar words mean including without limitation; (c) a reference to a Section is to a section of these Terms; and (d) the summary at the top of this page does not form part of these Terms, and if it conflicts with these Terms, these Terms control.
3. The Offer
3.1 The Free Year. Subject to these Terms, Mecavoy will provide a Free Year of Mecavoy Plus, which will be priced at $89 a year, at no cost to the first Account opened with your Subscribed Address. The Free Year is reserved for your Subscribed Address when you subscribe.
3.2 Benefits. The benefits of Mecavoy Plus during your Free Year are those published on Mecavoy’s pricing page when your Free Year begins, and they may change as the Mecavoy Service develops. The length of the Free Year will not change: it is twelve (12) months, at no cost.
3.3 Eligibility. To claim the Free Year, you must, at the time you open your Account:
- be at least 18 years of age;
- be legally resident in the United States; and
- have subscribed to the Mecavoy mailing list at mecavoy.com with the email address you use to open the Account.
3.4 One Free Year per person. Only one Free Year is available per person. All email addresses belonging to the same person count as one person, and Mecavoy will treat email addresses that differ only by dots or by a “+” tag as the same address.
3.5 How the Free Year is applied. Once you have subscribed, open an Account with your Subscribed Address at or after Launch, and the Free Year will be applied to that Account automatically. No promotional code or payment card is required, and the Free Year is not a trial that converts into a paid subscription. The Offer applies only to the first Account opened with the Subscribed Address. A later Account opened with the same address does not receive a further Free Year.
3.6 Deadline. You must open your Account no later than July 31, 2027. This is a deadline for opening the Account, not for using the Free Year: the Free Year runs for twelve (12) months from the date on which the Account is opened, so an Account opened on July 31, 2027 receives the full twelve (12) months. The deadline in this Section 3.6 does not apply to residents of a Covered State, who are subject instead to the deadline in Section 4.4. If you do not open an Account by the deadline that applies to you, the Offer lapses.
3.7 Start and end of the Free Year. Except as provided in Section 4, the Free Year begins on the date the Account is opened and ends twelve (12) months later. Mecavoy will email you before the Free Year ends. The Free Year does not auto-renew into a paid subscription. When it ends, the Account reverts to the Registered Tier and remains there unless you choose to subscribe to a paid tier. Content you created in the Account during the Free Year remains yours, but any content that exceeds the limits of the Registered Tier becomes read-only.
3.8 Restrictions. The Offer and the Free Year have no cash value and may not be transferred, sold or combined with any other offer.
3.9 Withdrawal and ending of the Offer. Mecavoy may withdraw the Free Year from any Account that Mecavoy reasonably believes was opened in order to claim the Offer more than once. Mecavoy may end the Offer for new subscribers at any time. Ending the Offer does not affect anyone who subscribed before it ended.
3.10 Signups that were never confirmed. Until Mecavoy removed the confirmation step from the signup process, a person who submitted the signup form was sent a confirmation email and became a subscriber only by clicking the confirmation link in that email. Version 1 of these Terms required a subscriber to confirm the subscription before opening an Account to receive the Free Year, and the Privacy Policy then in effect stated that an unconfirmed record is not a subscriber. A signup made in that period that was never confirmed therefore did not become a subscription. It does not reserve a Free Year, it is not on the Mecavoy mailing list, and Mecavoy sends no emails to it. Mecavoy deletes the records of those signups. Nothing in this Section 3.10 prevents the owner of the email address from subscribing through the signup form at mecavoy.com while the Offer is open, in which case these Terms apply to that subscription.
4. Residents of California, Florida, Hawaii and Washington
4.1 Availability. If you are a resident of a Covered State, you may subscribe, open an Account and plan trips from Launch, but you may not book travel through the Mecavoy Service until the Booking Opening Date for your state. Each Covered State regulates sellers of travel that sell to its residents, wherever the seller is located, and Mecavoy will not hold the required registrations at Launch. Mecavoy is applying for them and expects booking to open in all four Covered States by December 2027. On the Booking Opening Date for each Covered State, Mecavoy will publish that date on mecavoy.com, together with the deadline that applies under Section 4.4, and will email the same information to Account holders who are residents of that state and to everyone then on the mailing list.
4.2 Free Year held until booking opens. Your Free Year is held, and does not begin to run, while the booking of travel through the Mecavoy Service is unavailable in your state. Until your Free Year begins, your Account will be on the Registered Tier.
4.3 Start date. Your Free Year begins on the later of (a) the Booking Opening Date for your state and (b) the date on which you open your Account, and it ends twelve (12) months later.
4.4 Deadline. To claim the Free Year, you must open your Account no later than six (6) months after the Booking Opening Date for your state. The deadline in Section 3.6 does not apply to you.
4.5 Residency. Whether you are a resident of a Covered State is determined by where you live, as shown by the residential address on your Account, and not by where you are located when you use the Mecavoy Service or by your IP address. For example, a Washington resident who uses the Mecavoy Service while in Colorado remains a Washington resident, and a Colorado resident who uses it while visiting Florida remains a Colorado resident.
5. Email and Marketing Policy
5.1 Your consent. By checking the consent box on the signup form, you agreed that Mecavoy may email you when Mecavoy launches, send you occasional updates while the Mecavoy Service is being built, and send you Mecavoy promotions and offers. Mecavoy records the exact wording of the consent displayed to you, the version of that wording, and the date and time at which you gave it, so that there is a record of what you agreed to.
5.2 Unsubscribing. Every email that Mecavoy sends you includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Mecavoy will act on an unsubscribe request immediately. You may also unsubscribe by replying to any such email and asking to be removed.
5.3 No sale or sharing. Mecavoy does not sell your email address and does not share it with anyone for their own marketing. Mecavoy’s email service provider delivers emails on Mecavoy’s behalf and does not use your email address for any other purpose.
5.4 Suppression list. When you unsubscribe, Mecavoy keeps your email address, the dates on which you subscribed and unsubscribed, and any record that an email to you could not be delivered, on a suppression list, and deletes the rest of the information held with your subscription. Mecavoy keeps your email address on the suppression list so that it does not email you again by mistake. If Section 1.3 applies to you, Mecavoy instead keeps only your email address on the suppression list, as Version 1 of these Terms provided, and deletes everything else held with your subscription. Unsubscribing does not end the Offer. Mecavoy also uses the email address kept on the suppression list to apply your Free Year if you open an Account with it.
6. Personal Information
6.1 Your subscriber record. Your subscriber record includes your email address; the wording, version and time of the consent you gave, and the fact that it was given through a web form; a hashed value derived from your IP address; your browser’s user agent; and the page from which you subscribed. Mecavoy uses this information to send you the emails you agreed to receive, to reserve and apply your Free Year, to apply the one-per-person limit in Section 3.4, and to keep automated submissions off the signup form.
6.2 IP addresses. Your IP address is not stored in your subscriber record. Mecavoy stores only a hashed value derived from it using a secret key that Mecavoy holds, and Mecavoy treats that value as personal information. Separately, the content delivery network that serves mecavoy.com keeps standard web access logs, which include the IP address from which each request was made. Those logs are kept for 90 days, are used only for security and diagnostics, and are not combined with your subscriber record or used for marketing.
6.3 Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy describes in full how Mecavoy handles personal information. Requests to access, correct or delete your personal information may be sent to privacy@mecavoy.com.
7. General
7.1 Amendments. Mecavoy may amend these Terms where a change is necessary because of circumstances outside Mecavoy’s reasonable control. Mecavoy will publish any amendment on this page, and no amendment will disadvantage anyone who subscribed before it in reliance on the earlier terms.
7.2 Liability and non-waivable rights. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits Mecavoy’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other matter for which liability cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under applicable law that cannot be waived or limited by agreement.
7.3 Governing law and jurisdiction. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and the applicable federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Wyoming have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Offer. That jurisdiction is exclusive, except that you may also bring an individual claim:
- in the small claims court for the county in which you reside, if the claim is within the jurisdiction of that court; or
- in the courts of your state of residence, where the law of that state gives you the right to bring the claim there.
Nothing in these Terms removes any protection that the law of your state of residence gives you and does not allow to be waived or limited by agreement.
7.4 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
7.5 Notices. Mecavoy will give notices under these Terms by email. You may contact Mecavoy about these Terms at support@mecavoy.com or by mail at the address in Section 1.1, and about your personal information at privacy@mecavoy.com.
Version History
This version history is provided for information and does not form part of these Terms.
Version 1.1, September 25, 2026. Version 1.1 replaces Version 1. It does not change the Offer, the eligibility requirements or the deadlines, and no action is required from you. The changes are as follows:
- The document has been restructured and renumbered, and defined terms have been added. It was previously titled “Terms and conditions”.
- Section 1.3 is added. If you subscribed while Version 1 of these Terms was published, you keep every right that Version 1 gave you, and where a provision of these Terms is more favorable to you than Version 1, that provision applies to you.
- The instruction to confirm your subscription before opening an Account has been removed, because subscribing through the signup form no longer involves a separate confirmation step. Section 3.10 is added. It states that a signup that required a confirmation email and was never confirmed did not become a subscription, does not reserve a Free Year, is not on the mailing list and receives no emails, and that Mecavoy deletes it.
- Mecavoy Plus is described as a tier that will be priced at $89 a year, rather than as “normally $89”, because Mecavoy Plus has not yet been offered for sale. The Free Year itself is unchanged.
- Section 4.3 clarifies that, for a resident of a Covered State, the Free Year begins on the later of the Booking Opening Date and the date the Account is opened, so that the full twelve months are available however those two dates fall.
- Section 4.1 states how the Booking Opening Date for each Covered State will be announced: Mecavoy will publish it on mecavoy.com and email it to Account holders who are residents of that state and to everyone then on the mailing list.
- Section 5.4 describes the information kept after an unsubscribe. Version 1 stated that only the email address is kept. For anyone who subscribes after Version 1.1 is published, Mecavoy also keeps the dates on which that person subscribed and unsubscribed and any record that an email to that person could not be delivered, as a record of the request. If Section 1.3 applies to you, Mecavoy keeps only your email address, as Version 1 provided. Section 5.4 also states that unsubscribing does not end the Offer, and that Mecavoy uses the email address kept on the suppression list to apply your Free Year if you open an Account with it.
- Section 6 corrects the descriptions of the hashed value derived from your IP address and of the purposes for which your email address is used.
- Section 7.2 restates the statement about liability that cannot be excluded and adds that nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived.
- Section 7.3 keeps Wyoming law and identifies the courts that have jurisdiction as the state and federal courts located in Wyoming. You may also bring an individual claim in the small claims court for the county in which you reside or, where the law of your state gives you that right, in the courts of your state of residence. Section 7.3 also preserves the protections of the law of your state of residence that cannot be waived by agreement.
- Section 7.5 states how notices are given.
